Join the Levine Lab at Duke University!

I am interested in recruiting postdocs, PhD students, and technicians excited to contribute to one or more of these ongoing themes:

  1. Plant community response to climate change
  2. Mechanisms of biodiversity maintenance
  3. Biodiversity-climate feedbacks
  4. Wildfire, climate change, and ecosystem management

I am particularly excited to work with scientists who have strong quantitative and/or field backgrounds, and who are interested in blending theoretical and empirical approaches to plant ecology.

Postdocs

Please consider applying to the funded position listed here. Applications will be evaluated on a rolling basis, and the position will remain open until filled.

In addition to funded positions, am always willing to work with qualified applicants interested in applying to external fellowships.

PhD Students

If you are interested in joining the Levine Lab as a PhD student, please send a CV and short statement of interest to jacob.levine@duke.edu.

Prospective PhD students should apply to Duke through the Duke Biology Program. After matriculation, students have the option to affiliate with the University Program in Ecology, an interdepartmental degree-awarding program with an Ecology focus.
